As summer starts to slowly wind down, the MLTC is preparing for the upcoming fall season. What's new for Fall 2021?

New Fitness Room

We have decided to convert the upstairs back viewing room of MLTC East into a modest fitness environment in order to offer tennis-specific fitness training. The room will contain accessories such as bands, kettle bells, fitness balls, steps, etc. so that players can warm-up before their matches or do a routine afterwards. Use of the room is at NO additional charge and is included in your East membership.

Yellow Ball JTP/Masters Expansion

As we push our junior players to reach new heights, the fitness room mentioned above will now be incorporated into all of our JTP/Masters yellow ball classes. If you have a child who participates at this level, their class will now run for 2.5hrs instead of 2hrs. 25-35 minutes of their time will be spent in the fitness room with a professional trainer as they work on increasing their strength, agility and coordination.

After a yellow ball JTP/Masters class is over, we will also be setting up a few ping pong tables! That's right...part of training national athletes is making sure that they have fun with things outside of tennis and this will be one of them. It is completely optional, but we know a lot of players already engage in this activity and we're happy to foster more of it.

Price Increase

The MLTC has kept it's prices consistent for a number of years, but the inflationary expense of Covid as well as various property expenses has necessitated a price increase of 10% on our programs and membership fees. Even with this added cost, the MLTC still proves to be by far the best deal around for the services we provide. If you're looking to only rent courts and play with friends during the indoor season, remember that we also offer an even more affordable West-only tennis membership.
